As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to oversee the day to day administration of our head office and support the efficient operation of the business.
Position Summary
Convil Group Pty Ltd is seeking a full time permanent Office Manager to coordinate and manage the administrative operations of our Wetherill Park office. This position plays an important role in supporting management, supervising administrative functions and ensuring office systems and procedures operate efficiently across the business.
This is a long term opportunity for an organised professional who can work in a fast paced construction environment while maintaining high administrative standards.
Key Duties
- Oversee the day to day administration and operation of the office.
- Develop, implement and improve office procedures and administrative systems.
- Coordinate and supervise administrative staff, allocating duties and monitoring workloads.
- Maintain company records, filing systems and business documentation.
- Coordinate office budgets, purchasing of office supplies and general administrative resources.
- Liaise with directors, project managers, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and external consultants regarding administrative and operational matters.
- Coordinate recruitment administration, employee onboarding, personnel records and staff training documentation.
- Assist management with preparing reports, correspondence and business documentation.
- Ensure office equipment, facilities and administrative resources are maintained.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and administrative processes.
- Provide administrative support to management across multiple business entities where required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an Office Manager or similar administrative management position.
- Strong organisational, leadership and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Experience within the construction or engineering industry will be highly regarded.
