The opportunity to join our team
At Insignia Financial, we are continuing to evolve our Wrap platform and broader digital capability, with a strong focus on delivering smarter, more data driven and technology enabled outcomes. This is an opportunity to operate at a senior level, leading analysis across complex initiatives and influencing how we connect strategy to delivery. You will work closely with product, technology, and senior stakeholders to shape solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes for advisers and members, while mentoring others and helping teams navigate complexity with clarity and purpose.
In this 12 month role you will lead business analysis across strategic initiatives, driving alignment between business outcomes and delivery while uplifting capability across the team.
Partner with product owners, senior stakeholders, and delivery leaders to shape and communicate strategic requirements
Lead the translation of business needs into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder forums to drive alignment across complex initiatives
Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clarity on value, scope, and priorities
Contribute to and influence backlog strategy, refinement, and alignment to delivery roadmaps
Use data, insights, and user feedback to inform decision making and continuous improvement
Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies across initiatives
Lead planning activities including sprint planning and broader delivery planning
Manage requirements end to end, from discovery through to value realisation
Evaluate delivered solutions and identify opportunities to improve outcomes and unlock further value
Mentor and support Business Analysts, contributing to capability uplift and best practice

What You Bring to This Role
We are looking for a senior practitioner who is comfortable leading from the front, influencing stakeholders, and bringing structure to complex problem spaces.
7+ years’ experience in business analysis, ideally within financial services or superannuation
Strong technical skills in software delivery, including project tracking, SQL, Miro, etc
Proven experience leading analysis across large or complex initiatives
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Deep experience eliciting and documenting requirements and facilitating workshops
Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable outputs
Strong problem solving and analytical thinking capability
Experience mentoring or supporting other Business Analysts
Strong understanding of end to end delivery and requirements lifecycle management
Experience working in agile delivery environments
Relevant certifications such as IIBA, Agile or Scrum preferred
A passion for continuous improvement and high quality delivery
