Carbone Lawyers is seeking dedicated Legal Assistants (x4) to join our team in Melbourne CBD, Essendon, Ringwood and Epping. These full-time positions are based in the Personal Injury Law department and offer an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the legal field. As a Legal Assistant at Carbone Lawyers, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the smooth running of files. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to lawyers and legal executives, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, including drafting letters and court documents
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to support casework
- Communicating with clients, both in person and over the phone, to assist with enquiries and provide updates on case progress
- Managing filing systems and maintaining accurate records of client information and case files
- Assisting with billing processes and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained
Skills and Experiences:
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to their work. Previous experience in a legal support role would be advantageous.
