About the role
As the first point of contact for many people accessing our services, you'll create a welcoming and supportive experience from the very first interaction.
You'll complete intake and assessment activities, coordinate referrals, provide high-quality administrative support and deliver practical, person-centred assistance to help clients achieve their goals.
This is a varied role combining customer service, administration and community support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping people while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role you'll
Be the first point of contact for clients accessing Anglicare services, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
Conduct intake, screening and initial assessments, coordinating referrals to appropriate programs and supports.
Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive client outcomes.
Maintain accurate client records, case notes and documentation in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, correspondence, appointment coordination and maintaining shared inboxes.
Assist with client onboarding, service coordination and day-to-day office administration.
Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and community stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with funding requirements, organisational policies and privacy legislation.
About you
You're passionate about helping people and thrive in a role that balances client interaction with administration.
You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and maintaining high-quality administrative processes while ensuring every client feels welcomed and supported.
Experience in intake, administration, community services, customer service or support work.
Demonstrated experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds and with varying support needs.
Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience maintaining confidential electronic records and client databases.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Experience using client management systems or CRMs (desirable).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to person-centred practice and Anglicare's Christian values.
Essential requirements
Current NSW Driver Licence.
Experience in community services, intake, administration or support work.
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Working With Children Check (where applicable).
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
