About the role
We are seeking a Sonographer to join our Tamworth clinic on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding regional role where you’ll enjoy a balanced workload, strong team support, and broad clinical exposure.
You’ll work across a diverse caseload including General, Obstetrics, MSK, and Vascular imaging—helping deliver essential diagnostic services to the local community while continuing to expand your skills.
Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no evening shifts or on-call requirements.
Your key responsibilities in this role, you will:
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care, prioritising comfort, safety, and confidentiality
- Support radiologists with interventional procedures and advanced scanning techniques
- Maintain consistently high standards of imaging quality and clinical practice
- Actively engage in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement

Is this the right role for you?
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in General, Obstetrics, MSK and/or Vascular ultrasound
- Relevant qualifications in Sonography and current ASAR registration
- A strong commitment to patient-centred care and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
- Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgement
