We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager with strong operational and compliance knowledge within the following areas:
- NDIS Services
- Support At Home Services
- Aged Care Services
- Allied Health Services
- Community Healthcare Workforce Management
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and understands the importance of maintaining a compliant, skilled, and compassionate workforce that delivers exceptional outcomes for participants and clients.
The HR Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of human resources, workforce compliance, recruitment, onboarding, staff development, and employee relations across the organisation.
A major focus of this role is ensuring all workforce compliance requirements are continuously maintained in line with:
- NDIS Practice Standards
- NDIS Code of Conduct
- Aged Care Quality Standards
- Fair Work obligations
- Healthcare workforce regulations
You will play a key leadership role in building a strong workforce culture while supporting operational growth across disability, aged care, home care, and allied health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of:
- Support Workers
- Nurses
- Physiotherapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Allied Health Assistants
- Service Coordinators
- Administration Staff
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and compliance verification
- Build effective recruitment pipelines for ongoing workforce growth
- Develop staff retention and engagement strategies
Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure all staff compliance requirements remain current and audit-ready
- Monitor:
- NDIS Worker Screening Checks
- Police Checks
- WWCC
- Mandatory training
- Professional registrations
- Competencies and licences
- Assist with preparation for NDIS and aged care audits
- Support incident management and compliance reporting processes
HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management processes
- Support managers and team leaders with HR guidance and workforce issues
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and staff documentation
- Foster a positive, respectful, and culturally safe workplace environment
Staff Development & Organisational Culture
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs
- Promote professional development and workforce capability
- Support staff wellbeing initiatives
- Ensure staff understand duty of care, participant safeguarding, and professional boundaries
Systems & Administration
- Work collaboratively with rostering, operations, and finance teams
- Maintain HR and compliance systems
- Support payroll and workforce administration processes
- Experience with systems such as:
- Xero
- ShiftCare
- HR compliance databases
Essential Requirements
✔ Previous HR experience within:
- NDIS
- Home Care
- Aged Care
- Allied Health or Healthcare sectors
✔ Strong knowledge of:
- NDIS Practice Standards
- Aged Care Quality Standards
- Workforce compliance requirements
- Fair Work legislation
✔ Experience recruiting healthcare and disability workforce staff
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing healthcare environment
✔ High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information professionally
