Gather by Cater Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team based in Currimundi, Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established boarding school, preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff while also supporting special events and functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for students, staff and special events
- Assist with high-volume meal production while maintaining presentation and consistency
- Support catering for functions, formal dinners and other onsite events
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards
- Work collaboratively to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team culture
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Chef, ideally in bulk catering or contract catering
- Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
- Positive, reliable team player with the ability to work independently when required
- Commitment to quality, food presentation and customer service (education sector experience is an advantage)
Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to obtain or hold a valid Working with Children Check.
