The Role
Due to fast paced growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong understanding of Information Security Management principles to join our Professional Services team in Canberra.
To succeed in this role, soft skills are at the top of the list of things we require. You will have excellent communication and facilitation skills. In addtion, you will possess solid technical knowledge, along with a good understanding of applicaitons and the infrastrcuture that supports them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Forge strong relationships within Brennan and with customers
- Facilitate customer workshops and projects to capture business and cybersecurity requirements and bring those into the projects you deliver
- Communicate technical and non-technical milestones and their business benefits to diverse stakeholders
- Project Management:
- Extensive experience managing projects in a consultancy or engineering team
- Proven experience in developing and delivering effective project management plans
- Audit deliverables and milestones
Key Skills and Qualifications required:
- Methodical approach to project management and problem-solving
- Attention to detail with the ability to discern and manage scope
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision
- Familiarity with frameworks such as the Essential 8, ISO27001, ISMS, NIST
- Knowledge of security areas including gateway protection, end-point protection, backup/storage, Data Loss Protection, Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management
