We're Hiring - Three Roles, One Great Team
We're growing our Housekeeping team at Inchcolm Hotel and looking for passionate, detail-oriented people across three levels:
Room Attendant - the heart of the guest experience, delivering impeccably cleaned and presented rooms
Public Area Cleaner - keeping all guest-facing spaces spotless, welcoming and hotel-proud
Housekeeping Team Leader - an experienced hands-on leader who drives standards, supports the team and keeps operations running smoothly

Key Responsibilities
Room Attendant & Public Area Cleaner
- Service and clean allocated rooms and/or public areas to the highest standards within set timeframes
- Anticipate and attend to guest needs promptly and with genuine care
- Replenish and control guest supplies
- Report maintenance issues, health and safety hazards or unusual situations to your supervisor immediately
- Follow all Housekeeping policies and procedures as set by the Executive Housekeeper
- Greet guests in a polite and courteous manner
- Maintain a consistently high standard of personal presentation
- Comply with all hotel operational policies and WH&S guidelines
Housekeeping Team Leader
- Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and efficiency, providing regular guidance and feedback
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas and facilities, taking corrective action where needed
- Deliver training for new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols and guest service standards
- Manage and track inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, ensuring stock is ordered before shortages occur
- Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, in line with hotel policies
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and follow up on repair and maintenance issues
- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with hotel, industry and WH&S standards
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays

- Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership or supervisory role in hospitality

- Confident problem-solver who stays calm and productive under pressure
- Collaborative approach - someone who builds team morale, listens well and brings out the best in others
- Proficiency in hotel management software is a plus
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage for Room Attendant and Public Area Cleaner roles - but we'll train the right person.
