About the Opportunity
We have immediate opportunities for Support Workers to join our team in Brookfield. If you're passionate about providing truly quality, individualised support, this is your chance.
We’re looking for staff with the right values to enrich the lives of our clients. We need committed staff who have flexible availability, including a willingness to work a variety of hours, such as mornings, afternoons, weekends and overnight shifts.
Due to the participant's background, only Female Support Workers are required for this position.This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption andoccupation qualificationand is authorised under(Division 1, Section 24 (1) (a), (b) & (2) of the VICTORIA Equal Opportunity Act 2010).
About You
To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded support workers that uphold and represent our core values for Empowering lives through heart and dignity.
In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:
- 12+ months experience as a Disability Support Worker highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience with behaviour management is highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience with restrictive practices.
- Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry OR willingness to enrol prior to commencement.
- Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)
- Medication Administration Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)
- Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
