We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a clinic and community-based role, providing the flexibility to work from our Caroline Springs clinic as well as within participants' homes, schools, workplaces, and community environments.

About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist with The Collective Network, you will work with NDIS participants across a diverse range of ages and communication needs. You will have the opportunity to provide both clinic-based and community-based services, allowing you to develop strong relationships with participants and their support networks while delivering practical, meaningful interventions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech pathology assessments
- Assessing communication, language, speech, literacy, social communication, and swallowing needs where within your scope of practice
- Developing and implementing evidence-based, person-centred intervention plans
- Providing individual and, where appropriate, group-based therapy
- Delivering therapy within the clinic and community settings
- Supporting participants to develop their communication and functional skills
- Providing recommendations and strategies to families, carers, support workers, educators, and other professionals
- Developing communication resources and therapy programs to support ongoing skill development
- Preparing high-quality clinical reports and documentation
- Collaborating with participants, families, support coordinators, educators, support workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Working alongside and providing guidance to Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to support therapy implementation
- Monitoring participant progress and reviewing intervention plans as required
- Managing a diverse caseload across children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
About You
You are a compassionate, motivated, and client-focused Speech Pathologist who enjoys building genuine relationships with participants and their support networks.
You are comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You have a strong commitment to person-centred practice and enjoy developing practical and creative strategies that support participants to communicate, connect, and participate more independently in their everyday lives.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the NDIS
- Experience conducting speech pathology assessments and clinical report writing
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Community-based Speech Pathology experience
- Experience working with participants with complex communication needs
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Experience with swallowing and mealtime support, where relevant to scope of practice
