The School Holiday Program starting in April in Western Sydney New South Wales, offers an engaging and supportive environment for persons with disabilities during their school holidays. This temporary, casual role is designed for individuals who are passionate about disability support.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating planned fun and educational activities that promote social interaction and personal development among participants.

Hours: Between 8am - 3pm
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Pay: 32.88+ depending on experience
- Location: Generally starting at Blacktown, the program may run out of the Blacktown or Penrith clinic. At times the planned activities may also be off site e.g. zoo visit, aquarium, easter show.
- School Holidays:
- Winter: Monday 6 July – Friday 17 July
- Spring Holidays: Monday 29 September – Friday 9 October
- Summer Holidays: Monday 21 December 26 – Friday 29 January 27
This is a casual role running for the duration of the next school holidays and will run every school holiday. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work future school holidays or join the casual pool moving forward if they desire.
Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities for participants during the school holidays.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the program.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among children, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth operation of the program.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including attendance tracking and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Transport participants to and from activities and occasionally from their home to the centre or activity.
Qualifications:

A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
- Previous experience in a childcare, disability or educational setting is ideal but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Driver's license and a car.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
- WWC & NDIS paid worker screening checks.
