Salary: $70k per annum + benefits + bonus once sales targets are achieved

We are seeking a Membership & Experience Consultant who understands that high-end hospitality and high-performance fitness go hand-in-hand. This is not just a standard sales role; you are the architect of a member's journey into Space.
The Role
As our Membership & Experience Consultant, your primary mission is to grow and sustain our community by connecting prospective members with the training ritual that fits their life. You will manage the entire sales ecosystem—from initial digital inquiries and studio tours to closing premium memberships and cultivating long-term retention.
You will lead with premium service, ensuring every person who steps through our doors experiences the meticulous care, elite energy, and sanctuary-like environment that defines The Temple Space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Membership Growth & Pipeline Management
- Drive the Intake: Proactively manage, track, and convert outbound and inbound leads (via phone, email, text, and walk-ins) using our studio management software.
- The Tour: Guide prospective members through the Space, conducting bespoke consultations to understand their movement history, goals, and experience level.
- Strategic Enrollment: Educate prospects on our membership options and class packages, effectively aligning their goals with our weekly rituals to close sales.
2. Elite Front-of-House Experience
- Set the Tone: As a key member of the studio, you will be greeting members by name and creating an elevated, welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.
- Studio Standards: ensuring everyone is having a great experience at the studio
3. Retention & Community Engagement
- The First 30 Days: Nurture new members through a structured onboarding flow, ensuring they build a consistent training rhythm and feel deeply connected to the community.
- Account Optimization: Manage member touchpoints, handling membership freezes, tracking milestones, and proactively saving cancellations through genuine relationship-building.
- Retail & Merchandising: Drive secondary revenue by confidently educating members on our retail collections and functional apparel.
About You
You are a highly motivated communicator who thrives in an active, upscale environment. You understand that sales in a premium boutique space is about solving problems and building relationships, not aggressive pitching.
- Experienced: You have 1–2+ years of experience in sales, membership consulting, or high-end hospitality (premium fitness, luxury retail, or boutique hospitality experience is highly regarded).
- A Natural Connector: You possess exceptional interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the confidence to engage with a discerning local demographic.
- Process-Driven: You are organized, comfortable operating a CRM/studio software (e.g., Mindbody), and take pride in keeping clean, accurate lead records.
- Aligned with the Ritual: You have a genuine passion for movement, wellness, and high-performance training—whether your background is in boxing, functional strength, or Pilates.
