Our Direct Banker role is designed to help you build your portfolio, develop your lending expertise and establish yourself as a trusted adviser—all while being supported every step of the way.
You’ll deliver a seamless, phone-based home lending experience, supporting customers from their first enquiry right through to settlement and beyond.
It’s all about building meaningful relationships, understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions that help bring their home ownership goals to life.
Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, you’ll manage your own pipeline, nurture leads and play a key role in delivering strong customer outcomes while contributing to the growth of the business.
With structured coaching, ongoing feedback and clear career pathways to Senior or Executive Banker roles, this is a great opportunity to develop your capability and confidence in lending.
You’ll also benefit from flexibility, including the option to work from home once fully trained, making this a role that supports both your professional and personal goals.
About you
You’re a people person who thrives on building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You bring energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for helping customers achieve their goals, particularly when it comes to home lending.
You’re confident working in a phone-based environment, comfortable managing both inbound and outbound conversations, and able to guide customers through what can sometimes be a complex journey with clarity and care.
With strong communication skills and sound judgement, you’re able to balance customer needs with business outcomes, while staying across credit principles, policies and processes.
You take ownership of your work, proactively manage your pipeline and are motivated to continuously learn and improve.
Most importantly, you’re someone who brings a positive mindset, collaborates with others and is excited to grow your career in lending while contributing to a team that delivers great outcomes for customers and the business.
