Fullsoot 4x4 is looking for an experienced Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing workshop.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can be handed a job and take ownership of it from start to finish, communicates well and works efficiently without needing to be constantly supervised.
THE ROLE
You’ll be working across a wide range of 4WD mechanical and performance work, including:
- General servicing, repairs & maintenance
- Engine diagnostics & fault finding
- Engine removal, installation & rebuild work
- Turbocharger & performance upgrades
- Clutches & driveline repairs
- Suspension & 4WD upgrades
- Intake, intercooler & exhaust installations
- Pre-dyno inspections & mechanical preparation
- Toyota LandCruiser, Hilux, Isuzu, Nissan, Ford and other 4WD platforms
- High-performance and custom 4WD builds
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want someone who:
- Is a fully qualified Automotive Technician
- Has solid mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
- Can work independently and manage their own jobs
- Communicates when there is a problem rather than letting it become a bigger one
- Takes pride in clean, organised workmanship
- Looks after customer vehicles and workshop equipment
- Can follow job cards and workshop procedures
- Has good attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Actually enjoys working on 4WDs and performance vehicles
4WD and diesel experience is highly regarded, particularly experience with Toyota LandCruisers and diesel performance, however it isn't essential for the right technician.
