Our Project & Infrastructure Advisory ( P&IA ) team provides industry leading specialist advisory services to government and private sector clients to help them deliver, expand or renew infrastructure which shapes the world in which we live.
Nationally, our team has over 100 specialists with expertise in commercial and financial advice, transaction and program management, financial modelling, economics, strategy, business case development and more. We are looking for talented people to join our Melbourne team as we continue to grow into new areas.
About The Opportunities
BDO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced project, commercial and financial advisors to join our P&IA team across the following levels:
Consultant
Senior Consultant
Assistant Manager
Manager
Senior Manager
Director
You will have the opportunity to work across business case, procurement, transaction, financial and commercial engagements for a diverse range of infrastructure projects in multiple sectors across Australia and Asia-pacific for both government and private-sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Our projects and service offering will expose you to a varied work experience which may include:
Leading, managing, and/or working as part of multi-disciplinary project teams
Leading, managing, or supporting the delivery of reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders
Leading, managing, or supporting the preparation of financial and commercial analyses informed by an understanding of the client/project’s objectives
Leading, managing, or supporting commercial negotiations between parties
Leading, managing, or supporting the development of project financial models
Managing or contributing to the on-time and on-budget delivery of engagements
Leading, managing, or supporting the preparation of comprehensive and compelling proposals for new engagements
Leading or supporting business development activities including engaging with current and potential future clients and tracking potential engagement opportunities
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners, and broader industry
About You
You will exhibit one or more of the following:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (via reports, spreadsheets, presentations, emails, and in conversations) in a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to lead, or contribute to, the development of a team
Strong understanding of, or desire to learn, government and commercial frameworks for business case development and infrastructure procurement
Demonstrated ability to lead, or contribute to, client relationships and business development
Understanding and demonstrated experience, or desire to learn, on project financial modelling and analysis
Tertiary qualifications (e.g. commerce, finance, engineering, legal, and other relevant qualifications considered).
