As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Between the Flags, you will provide expert leadership, education and consultancy to support the recognition and response to patient deterioration across Royal North Shore Hospital. Working alongside critical care clinicians and multidisciplinary subject matter experts, you will lead patient safety initiatives, drive quality improvement, deliver staff education and support best practice escalation of care.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division
- with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency with a minimum of five years full time equivalent experience post registration.

Post registration qualifications and demonstrated extensive clinical experience relevant to the field.

Experience in teaching DETECT.

Advance Life Support Accredited or willing to complete and evidence of involvement in research projects.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including written, verbal and organisational skills.

Demonstrated ability to set objectives and targets, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

Demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes in consultation with all stakeholders.
