Truck Driver - General
At NATIONAL SCAFFOLDING PTY LTD, we are looking for a skilled Truck Driver - General to work on a full-time basis (at least 38 hours per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Driving heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials between depots, suppliers, and customer locations.
· Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are handled carefully and secured properly for transport.
· Planning routes and managing delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and efficient trips.
· Checking vehicle condition before and after use, including fuel levels, tyres, lights, and basic mechanical components.
· Following road rules, safety standards, and company procedures while operating the vehicle.
· Keeping records of deliveries, including logs, receipts, and any required transport documentation.
· Communicating with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery updates or any delays.
· Handling unexpected situations such as traffic delays, weather conditions, or changes in delivery instructions.
Requirements
· Relevant qualification or 1 year of experience in lieu of the qualification.
· At least 1 year of experience.
· Good time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines and manage schedules efficiently.
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing delivery requirements or road conditions.
· Strong awareness of safety practices and road regulations.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
