We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join a 24/7 support program in Dandenong. In this role, you will provide consistent, person-centred support to an individual with complex psychosocial support needs, helping them maintain structure, build daily routines, and stay connected to their community.
You will be part of a dedicated team delivering calm, respectful and reliable support that promotes safety, independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, person-centred support within a 24/7 care environment
- Assist with daily living activities and routine development
- Support community access and engagement
- Provide emotional regulation and behavioural support in line with support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in presentation
- Work collaboratively with the broader care and support team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid P2 or Open driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- Experience supporting participants with mental health or psychosocial support needs
- Confidence supporting behaviours of concern in a calm and professional manner
- Strong understanding of person-centred support practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A consistent, reliable and grounded approach to support work
