About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Roof Plumber to join our dynamic team in Hobart, TAS 7000. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of roofing and cladding projects across residential properties. As a Qualified Roof Plumber, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring all installations meet relevant building codes and industry standards. This position is based in Hobart and offers the chance to work with a reputable company that values craftsmanship and professional excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, cut and fit metal and other roofing materials to specifications
- Measure and install all types of wall cladding
What we’re looking for
- Current and valid roof plumbing or plumbing qualification recognized in Tasmania
- Proven experience working as a roof plumber in the residential and/or commercial sectors
- Competency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and specialized roofing equipment
- Understanding of building codes, regulations and Australian standards relevant to roof plumbing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely at heights and hold a current Working at Heights qualification
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Preferably, experience with modern roofing technologies and sustainable building practices
