About you
We are looking for a Senior Associate's with 5-7 years of post-admission experience, ideally within a leading firm or in-house team. You will have Experience in technology contracting, privacy/data or regulatory advisory work (ideally a mix). This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

- An interest in business development, profile-building and mentoring junior lawyers
- Exposure to areas such as cyber incident response, privacy compliance or AI (desirable)
- A strong interest in AI and emerging technologies, and a willingness to develop expertise in how these can be safely and effectively deployed within legal practice and for clients

Your role
We are looking for Senior Associates with 5–7 years’ experience who are interested in building a specialist practice at the intersection of technology, data, privacy and intellectual property, in a fast-moving and evolving regulatory environment.
You will work closely with partners and clients on a diverse range of matters, including:
- Commercial and technology contracting (including SaaS, licensing and outsourcing arrangements)
- AI advisory, including governance, deployment and emerging risk frameworks
- Privacy and data protection, including regulatory advice, audits and privacy impact assessments
- Cyber preparedness and incident response, including data breaches and crisis management
- Regulatory investigations and enforcement in data and technology contexts
You will work with a broad mix of clients, including commercial and government organisations, ranging from medium to large enterprises through to international businesses, and collaborate across the firm to help clients navigate an increasingly complex digital and regulatory landscape.
