AYA Home & Community Services is currently seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team to support clients.
*Location:* Morwell, VIC
*Pay Rate:* $40 -$80per hour
*Job Type:* Casual / ongoing
We are looking for a *highly experienced and qualified NDIS Support Worker* to support an NDIS participant in the *Morwell area*.
This role is suitable for a support worker who has strong experience working with participants who require a higher level of care, structure, patience, and professional support.
*About the Role*
You will be supporting an NDIS participant with daily living, community access, personal support, emotional regulation, routine building, and general wellbeing. The participant requires a confident and experienced support worker who understands duty of care, boundaries, incident reporting, and person-centred support.
*We are looking for someone who has:*
* Previous experience as an NDIS Support Worker
* Experience supporting participants with complex needs
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to follow care plans and behaviour support strategies
* A calm, respectful, and professional approach
* Good understanding of NDIS standards and duty of care
* Reliability and commitment to shifts
* Ability to work independently and report clearly to the office
*Mandatory Requirements*
Applicants must have:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check,
* National Police Check
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Valid driver’s licence
* Own reliable car with comprehensive insurance
* Relevant disability, aged care, community services, or support work experience
* Australian working rights
*Preferred*
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or similar
* Experience with mental health, behaviours of concern, or complex support needs
* Experience working with NDIS participants requiring higher-level support
*Pay Rate*
$40 per hour.
