With continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
· Planning, organising, directing and coordinating construction projects throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through to completion and handover.
· Managing and monitoring project costs, budgets, variations, risks, quality, and resources to support completion of projects within agreed timeframes and contractual requirements.
· Developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating work programs, and monitoring project progress and delivery outcomes
· Managing labour resources, procurement activities, and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment required for project completion.
· Supervising and coordinating with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and trades workers throughout the construction process.
· Managing regular communication with clients to provide project updates, monitor progress, address enquiries and resolve issues throughout the construction process.
· Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, engineering documentation, specifications and construction requirements.
· Preparing and reviewing project documentation, progress reports, construction records and relevant project correspondence.
· Coordinating tendering activities and engagement with contractors and suppliers where required.
· Managing the submission of plans, coordinating approvals and liaising with local authorities and project stakeholders.
· Coordinating final inspections, project handover, and the rectification of defects during the defects liability period.
· Ensuring construction activities comply with relevant building legislation, regulations, safety requirements and quality standards.
· Identifying project risks, delays and construction issues, and implementing practical solutions to maintain project delivery objectives.
Requirements
· A minimum of bachelor's degree in construction management, building, engineering or a related field.
· At least one year of relevant experience in construction project management, building or a related role.
· Good knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling and coordination.
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
· Understanding of construction safety requirements and quality standards.
· Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage construction issues effectively.
· Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin,
· Ability to work with technical & non-technical people.
· Good organisational skills and multi-tasking ability.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
