As the IPS Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Defence-compliant IPS outcomes, ensuring the capability is supportable throughout its lifecycle while driving best practice across logistics, procurement, asset management and sustainment activities.
Working within a complex Defence acquisition environment, you will lead all Integrated Product Support activities, ensuring compliance with Defence Delivery Group and Navy requirements while tailoring IPS practices to modern ICT systems and sustainment models.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead the development and assurance of Defence-compliant IPS and ILS documentation.

Develop supportability strategies for ICT-enabled maritime capabilities.

Drive lifecycle support planning, including hardware lifecycle management, cyber worthiness, vendor support and sparing strategies.

Manage Defence procurement activities including Bills of Materials (BoM), Outline Agreements and Purchase Orders within Defence ERP.

Oversee ICT asset lifecycle management, inventory control and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) accountability.

Develop and maintain logistics artefacts including Approved Parts Lists (APL), Operational Allowance Lists (OAL) and Repair Parts Lists (RPL).

Ensure configuration management, codification and logistics data integrity across Defence systems.

Provide expert advice on obsolescence management, vendor dependency and supply chain risk.

Collaborate with Defence Delivery Group, Defence Digital Group, Navy stakeholders, OEMs and ICT vendors.

Lead IPS personnel while ensuring delivery against project schedules, quality standards and governance requirements.
You are an experienced Defence logistics professional with extensive knowledge of Integrated Product Support and Defence acquisition programs. You thrive in complex stakeholder environments and have a strong understanding of ICT sustainment within Defence capability delivery.

10+ years' experience in Defence Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Integrated Product Support (IPS), logistics or supply chain management.

Demonstrated experience delivering IPS/ILS artefacts within Defence acquisition projects.

Strong understanding of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) and capability transition into sustainment.

Mandatory experience and certification using Defence ERP across:
