THE ROLE:
The Strategic Marketing & Communications Adviser will work closely with Strategic Marketing and Communications Managers to create content and develop, implement and measure communication and marketing strategies and campaigns supporting Austrade’s strategic priorities.
The Strategic Marketing & Communications Adviser:
- Is an experienced high-performing marketing and communications professional.
- Is an outstanding project manager and content creator with experience delivering content projects and developing content for social media, external news articles and newsletters.
- Has experience developing and implementing organic and paid digital marketing campaigns and communication strategies utilising a variety of content types and channels.
- Is creative, driven and passionate about content development, digital marketing, performance and analytics across paid, owned and earned channels who can deliver and act on data driven insights.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Developing and project managing paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, and content projects including:
o Working closely with Austrade’s brand, digital direct mail, web and social teams to ensure best practice in terms of brand and user/audience experience.
o Project managing creative components of campaign activities including case study projects and briefing and managing creative and media agencies.
o Developing channel plans and ongoing organic content calendars to maximise opportunities to leverage Austrade and industry channels.
o Ensuring compliance with Government campaign protocols, processes, and requirements for implementing domestic campaigns including relevant procurement processes (and supporting on these processes).
o Responsible for monitoring and managing campaign performance – including managing campaign performance optimisations and campaign moderation where required.
o Working with relevant team members and agencies to develop campaign performance reports. Sharing insights on campaign and content performance in a meaningful way with the broader communications and marketing teams and key stakeholders.
o Working with program teams to identify key activities to amplify on Austrade corporate channels and developing and implementing content to support these activities.
o Engaging with internal and external teams and stakeholders to assist in the delivery of major programs and campaigns and amplify messages across regional and partner channels.
• Connecting with teams across Austrade to source information to create high-quality and engaging content for a variety of channels e.g. external and internal news articles, videos, social media assets and copy, and newsletter content.
- Developing marketing content toolkits to support the delivery and amplification of promotional activity across partner channels.
