Registered Nurse - Residential

As a Registered Nurse at Cobram Regional Care, you will be responsible for the leadership and supervision of all levels of staff, and the promotion of a harmonious team approach to the delivery of care. The ideal candidate will also be flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable, show commitment to the provision of quality care and continuous improvement, and have the capacity to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Clinical Care: Providing high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
Wound Management: Managing and dressing wounds, preventing infections, and promoting proper wound healing.
Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualised care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
Assessment and Documentation: Conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.
Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing pain management strategies.
Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinating the response as necessary.
End-of-Life Care: Providing comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
As a Registered Nurse – Division 1, It is a requirement of the position to hold a current unrestricted registration with AHPRA and be willing to obtain a current Federal Police check.
