Manager Fair Jobs Code
- Salary: $142,790 - $191,084 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed term up to 31 August 2027
- Usual hours of work: Full time
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available)
The Role
As the successful candidate you will provide day-to-day operational management of the Fair Jobs Code team to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of the Fair Jobs Code.
You will have strong organisational and program/project implementation skills, demonstrated policy development experience, and explore options and deliver initiatives to maximise delivery efficiency for the Fair Jobs Code Unit, Victorian Government Departments and Agencies and Fair Jobs Code pre-assessment certificate applicants.
You will have demonstrated experience in strategic briefing and budget bid development, and be skilled at collaboration, stakeholder engagement and working in a team environment that is fast paced and responsive to change and prioritising work deliverables.
Main accountabilities:
- Responsible for implementation of endorsed strategic policy within the functional area
- Contributes to strategic corporate initiatives and is responsible for implementation
- Provides authoritative expert advice on complex issues within own area
- Develops policy frameworks within area of expertise or responsibility based on defined organisational priorities
The Team
The position of Manager Fair Jobs Code forms a part of the Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent branch within the Industry, Trade & Investment group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment group works closely with businesses, locally and globally, to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. We champion Victoria as a destination of choice for trade and international investment, international education and innovation. ITI harnesses specialist knowledge of key industries and global markets to develop Victoria's priority sectors, boost trade activities, enhance productivity and contribute to economic growth.
About You
You will bring recognised expertise in project delivery and program management, with the ability to provide strategic direction, manage risk and deliver complex initiatives in a dynamic environment. You will demonstrate a strong customer focus, driving service excellence and identifying long-term benefits for stakeholders. You will also have proven experience leading projects and programs to successful outcomes while balancing competing priorities and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
