LCI (Lehr Consultants International (Australia) Pty Ltd) is looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to join our Brisbane office. This role involves collaborating closely with our wider team to deliver a strong pipeline of exciting projects.

Your key responsibilities will include the following: -
- Liaise with engineers and clients to discuss existing or potential projects and products.
- Works as required in the development of engineering documentation and reports.
- Site inspections and survey for the purposes of reports or project works.
- Preparation of engineering drawings and documents to meet project timelines.
- Engineering calculations such as pipe sizing, hwu sizing, sanitary system pipe sizing, water and gas demand calculations, stormwater system, hydrants and hose reels sizing.
- Preparation of technical specifications and contract documents.
- Preparation of single lines diagrams and schematics.
- Preparation of technical specifications and contract documents.
- Assist CAD team with design CAD &REVIT drafting (multi discipline) when required.
- Coordination of design with other engineers and appreciation of other services disciplines.
- Lead projects or specific part of a project cycle with supervision from Senior Engineers.
Your skills and experience will include: -
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering degree or relevant hydraulic trade qualification.
- Professional experience as a hydraulic engineer (2-5 years).
- Experience working on multiple projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and within all disciplines.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver required solutions.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to develop high-level technical competence and quality.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
