The Opportunity on Offer
The Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting the efficient and compliant operation of the aged care facility by delivering high-quality administrative and clerical services. This position is responsible for managing reception duties and enquiries, coordinating resident admissions and discharges, maintaining accurate records and data systems.
This is a part-time opportunity, with the potential to transition to a full-time position in the future based on organisational needs and the successful candidate's performance.
How you will make an Impact
- Maintaining a friendly, helpful manner with consumers, visitors and other staff.
- Proactively trying to resolve concerns, complaints or suggestions of consumers and family/visitors.
- Complete all administrative tasks promptly with accuracy of detail.
- Completing and maintaining ongoing scheduled routines.
- Accurate administration of all cash transactions and POS machine.
- Following established protocols and document control.
- Word processing documents, reports and letters as required.
- Assists with annual stock take and maintaining an up-to-date asset register
- Complete all financial procedures promptly with accuracy of detail.
Ability to implement work with regard to all the Accreditation Standards.

Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in office procedures
- Advanced computer and word processing skills
- Qualifications/experience required as per Management's discretion depending on the tasks/responsibilities involved.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
Current Covid-19 Vaccinations (highly recommended)
