Working closely with our service team and customers, you’ll identify, source, and deliver the right parts at the right time. From supporting customers at the counter to coordinating parts for workshop and field service teams, you’ll play a vital role in keeping machines, and business, moving.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your number one responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely support for all their parts needs.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering genuine career growth and development opportunities. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you'll work a rotating Monday to Friday roster (7:00am – 3:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm), with occasional Saturday shifts (8:00am – 12:00pm) and participation in an on-call roster.
What a day typical day will look like:
- Dealing with front counter enquiries, both face to face and over the phone
- Locating Cat parts for customers and technicians
- Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
- System based parts interpreting using a variety of digital and print resources
- Parts Warehousing tasks (receiving, order picking and dispatch)
- Ensuring company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions
- Assisting with the operation of display areas and stock cleanliness
ABOUT YOU
You will have a true passion for customer service, with a willingness and desire to learn and develop into being a Cat Parts Specialist.
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:
- Mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive is preferable
- Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Experience working on different kinds of systems/databases
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential)
