SunPork is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Stockperson to join our team at our Flagstaff Piggery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with livestock or piggery experience looking to take the next step in their agricultural career.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining animal welfare standards, supporting daily farm operations, and providing leadership and support to on-site team members. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who is passionate about livestock production and enjoys mentoring others while contributing to a high-performing team.
- Full-time, permanent position
- 38-hour work week plus overtime opportunities
- Rotating roster:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Monday to Sunday (including weekend work)

- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
- Monitor herd health, production performance, and livestock wellbeing
- Provide guidance, training, and support to Stockpersons and farm staff
- Assist with daily pig husbandry activities, including animal handling and treatments
- Maintain accurate production and animal health records
- Support the Site Manager in achieving production and operational targets
- Ensure farm facilities, equipment, and work areas are maintained to a high standard
- Promote a safe and productive workplace culture
- Previous piggery, livestock, or intensive farming experience
- Demonstrated leadership or senior stockperson experience preferred
- Strong understanding of animal welfare and biosecurity practices
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on farm duties
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to workplace safety
