The Opportunity
We are currently seeking:
- Chef de Partie (x1)
- Commi chef (x2)
- Pastry Chef (x1)
You will support the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations across daily preparation, pack-outs, and event service. This role requires confidence in running event service, leading teams through high-volume periods, and maintaining quality, consistency, and speed at scale.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong CDP or Junior Sous Chef ready to step up in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will gain exposure to large-scale operations, complex service planning, and multi-venue collaboration, working across a variety of cuisines and event formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen teams across prep, pack-outs, and event service
- Execute a variety of events across multiple locations within the zoo
- Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency during high-volume service
- Support team leadership, training, and performance
About You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confident working independently with strong ownership and initiative
- Experience in ordering, supplier management, and stock control
