We’re excited to open the role of Account Manager – Queensland , reporting to the State Manager – Queensland. In this role, you will drive sales growth, expand market share, and build strong partnerships across your territory.
You will deliver against sales targets, grow distribution across channels, and bring our portfolio to life through impactful activations and exceptional storytelling.
Through a customer-first, insight-led approach, your contribution will strengthen brand presence and support the continued success of Moët Hennessy Australia.

How you will contribute…
Overview of the position
As an Account Manager, your role is to achieve MHA’s business objectives and agreed sales budget for your territory while understanding and embracing the strategic imperatives of MHANZ in your day-to-day business. The core focus of this position is to grow market share across On, Off and eRetail channels across the brand portfolio. You are also responsible for enhancing MHANZ’s culture and contributing to the success of your team and the broader business.
Category Leadership
- Grow market share by achieving agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets set by the State Manager.
- Grow market share by achieving agreed distribution points across all channels.
- Highlight our uniqueness vs. competition through storytelling and sharing market insights with customers.
- Become an industry-recognised Ambassador for MH Brands through product knowledge and storytelling.
- Adapt to evolving customer expectations.
- Support digital initiatives through impactful activations.
Achieve Industry Sales Force Leadership
- Deliver commercial objectives by being a valued partner to customers.
- Provide tailored advice to customers.
- Ensure 100% distribution compliance with contracts and territory targets.
- Use Salesforce and QLIK to track and report KPIs.
- Complete On-Premise distribution surveys after each call.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and promotions, and share insights.
Storytelling
- Bring brands to life by sharing heritage with passion and expertise.
- Showcase product craftsmanship and portfolio value.
- Embody luxury in all communications and service rituals.
- Inspire a culture of excellence to build brand desirability.
Make MHANZ Brands Available & Accessible
- Execute activation programmes across accounts (tracked via Salesforce).
- Ensure merchandising standards across all channels and eRetail.
- Achieve maximum facings and display of core brands.
- Ensure strong brand visibility over competitors.
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Credit & Payment Collections
- Monitor customer financial status and escalate risks.
- Follow up on outstanding debts to improve collections.
- Ensure debts are collected within due dates.
Others
- Support market visits with stakeholders when required.
- Participate in sales meetings to share insights and best practices.
- Represent MH values and Crafting Experiences.
Decision-Making Authority
Own Authority:
- Prioritise initiatives based on brand and customer needs.
- Prospect new accounts to drive growth.
- Implement trading terms in line with guidelines.
Referred Authority:
- Trade rebates, credit limits, and credit controls.
- Trade entertainment (lunches, dinners).
- Approval of trade-related expenditure (FTT or A&P budgets).
