Parkhouse Bell is recruiting for a not-for-profit organisation who supports people with disability and those with lived experience of the justice system to realise their full potential through meaningful employment.
The Position
As a Recruitment Specialist, you will act as the bridge between inclusive employers and talented jobseekers. This role is centred on championing diversity, driving employment opportunities, and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
Blending employer engagement, job coaching, and community impact, you will play a key role in shaping inclusive futures and strengthening local workforce. In essence this role requires you to build relationships with local employers and promote a free recruitment service that will give participants on a back to work programme the opportunity interview – all completely free of charge.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with employers and promote inclusive hiring practices
- Identify employment opportunities through reverse marketing and business development – promoting the free recruitment services and offering local employers support to fill their roles
- Work closely with Employment Consultants to identify suitable job seekers for the companies you are working with
- Deliver engaging job readiness workshops (resumes, interview skills, workplace readiness)
- Match jobseekers to suitable roles using a strengths-based, person-centred approach
- Manage wage subsidy agreements and maintain accurate records
- Represent the business at job fairs, expos, and community events
- Promote cultural awareness and inclusive communication in all interactions
- Achieve performance targets through sustainable job placements

Criteria:
- Experience in B2B sales, employer engagement, employment services, or diversity hiring
- Strong ability to build relationships and confidently communicate
- Comfortable handling objections and influencing employers
- Empathetic, solutions-focused, and motivated to create impact
- Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain), National Police Check, and open driver’s licence
