About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic leadership to care and support teams, ensuring the delivery of person-centred, safe, and high-quality services tailored to residents’ needs. This role involves assessing and reviewing residents’ health and functional abilities, developing and maintaining care plans, promoting meaningful social and physical activities, and supervising staff in daily living and clinical care. The RN also provides leadership and guidance each shift, monitors care quality and resident wellbeing, and ensures a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing workplace health and safety policies.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) Certificates
Previous experience as an RN in an Aged Care environment.
- Strong communication skills with a level of English literacy that enables you to speak in a manner that older people can understand, as well as the ability to read written instructions and to write clearly and concisely particularly in progress notes

Exceptional time management and ability to support other staff.
Outstanding problem-solving skills, balancing resident independence and safety.
High-level understanding of dementia care, including supporting residents with challenging behaviours
Understanding of how to apply AN-ACC to ensure optimum levels of funding are achieved
Excellent contemporary clinical knowledge, including medicines used in aged care.
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Standards as they relate to accreditation.
