How You’ll Make a Difference:
Working with the Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Taking ownership of branch performance across operations, financial outcomes, customer service, safety, quality and team leadership.
- Developing and executing branch business plans that support revenue growth, operational capacity, profitability and long-term sustainability.
- Managing budgets, labour costs, operating expenditure and forecasting performance.
- Leading, coaching and developing team members while building a positive, accountable and performance-focused culture.
- Overseeing day-to-day branch operations, including customer service, quoting, purchasing, scheduling, production, stock control, dispatch and administration.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve service, responsiveness and commercial outcomes.
- Promoting strong WHS, environmental, quality, risk management and compliance practices across the branch.
- Driving continuous improvement, Lean, 5S and process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and profitability.
About You:
As the successful candidate, you will have:

Proven experience leading a branch, business unit, manufacturing site, operational division or similar autonomous function.
- Strong commercial and financial capability, including profit and loss accountability, budget management, cost control, forecasting and reporting.
- A confident leadership style with the ability to coach, develop, engage and hold teams accountable for performance outcomes.
- Operational leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, customer service, distribution or a related environment.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
- The ability to use operational, financial, safety, quality and customer data to identify trends, solve problems and drive measurable improvement.
- Working knowledge of WHS, environmental, quality and compliance requirements in an operational or industrial environment.
- Experience implementing Lean, 5S, continuous improvement, process improvement or system-based initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Leadership or a related discipline are desirable, although equivalent senior operational and commercial experience will also be highly regarded.
