About the Position
Our Norwest Private Hospital practice, open 24/7, offers a wide range of imaging services including BMD, Cardiac, CT including low dose, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and X-Ray. As the only imaging services provider onsite, you will be exposed to a wide variety of patients and specialisations, including from a growing Emergency Department, and supporting theatre work. You will liaise closely with doctors and other medical professional within the hospital ensuring the production of high-quality images to enable the composition of reports to assist in the medical assessment of a patient. At PRP we are renowned for the quality of our reports. You will provide an excellent service to our patients in accordance with our values and assist in the development of skills of our team. You will be rewarded for identifying opportunities to improve the operation of the business. You will liaise with the Senior Technical staff in relation to Radiography protocols.
About You
You must have a reputation for performing high quality Radiography examinations independently whilst providing exceptional patient care. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing. Experience working within a hospital environment would be highly regarded. In addition, you must have:
- a Degree in Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) - or equivalent
- Experience in all general Radiography procedures
- Experience in CT and/or MRI preferred but not essential
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Current NSW EPA Licence and Working with Children Check
