As Venue Manager, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day operation of Pattysmiths × Dante's Hot Chicken. You'll drive sales and profitability, maintain our obsessive standard of food quality and customer experience, and develop the team around you.
Reports To: Franchisee / Director Direct Reports: Assistant Manager, Supervisors, Team Members
What You'll Be Doing
People & Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing venue team
- Manage performance, conduct appraisals and handle HR matters in line with the Fast Food Industry Award and Fair Work Australia
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, rostering and succession planning
- Foster a positive, accountable and fun team culture
Operations & Shift Management
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, service, opening/closing procedures and venue presentation
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety legislation, WHS requirements and company policies
- Manage stock, cash handling, banking, POS and all shift administration accurately and on time
- Maintain venue equipment to standard
Customer Experience
- Set the benchmark for exceptional customer service — and hold the team to it
- Resolve customer complaints with professionalism and a genuine commitment to satisfaction
- Support and champion the company loyalty program
- Build strong relationships with regulars, locals and business partners
Sales & Profitability
- Drive revenue through Local Area Marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Analyse trading reports and P&L statements; identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Minimise waste, manage labour costs and keep expenses on budget
- Coach the team on suggestive selling techniques
Safety
- Champion a safety-first culture across all aspects of venue operations
- Ensure all WHS procedures are followed and any breaches are addressed promptly
Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
