About the role
This role provides specialist support and advisory across injury support systems, claims administration, and governance processes to ensure accurate, timely and compliant management of workers compensation claims and associated activities.
The Specialist is responsible for coordinating key administrative functions including triage, workers compensation claims processing, benefit payments, and documentation management.
In addition, this role will support in maintaining system integrity and contributing to workflow optimisation and continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness and capacity of the broader injury management team. You will have a direct impact on organisational performance through improved claims outcomes, risk reduction and system efficiency.
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in workers compensation, injury management and/or return to work coordination/systems
- Strong understanding of workers compensation calculations, including pre-injury earnings analysis
- Experience managing/coordinating administrative and operational workflows with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong working knowledge of claims management systems and reporting practices
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-making and drive adoption of improved practices with key stakeholders
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to identify, analyse and optimise workflows and processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service outcomes.
