Registered Practice Nurse – Kirrawee & HeathcotePart-Time / Full-Time / Casual Positions Available
MyMedical Health Centre Kirrawee and Heathcote are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate Registered Practice Nurse to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to work in a modern, well-established medical practice in South Sydney, across our existing Kirrawee clinic and our new Heathcote clinic.

About Our Clinics
Our Kirrawee practice is conveniently located at South Village, only a 3-minute walk from Kirrawee Train Station, with Coles, Aldi, cafes, restaurants and other retail amenities nearby.
Our new Heathcote clinic is located directly opposite Heathcote Train Station, providing excellent public transport access.
The successful applicant will work across both sites as required.
The Role
You will work alongside a dedicated team of medical receptionists and highly qualified General Practitioners.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Wound care management
- Adult and paediatric immunisations
- Vaccine cold-chain and vaccine stock management
- ECGs and spirometry
- Assisting GPs with treatment room procedures
- Treatment room stock management
- Venepuncture
- Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments
- Preparation and review of care plans
- Assisting GPs with annual diabetes and asthma cycles of care
- Effective management of patient reminder systems
- Monitoring patient clinical outcomes
- Coordination, management and maintenance of patients' clinical data
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Providing patient education and health promotion
- Supporting the practice's quality improvement activities
- Covering medical reception duties when required to support practice operations
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant must have:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in General Practice – mandatory
- Competency in Best Practice medical software – mandatory
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, completed within the last 12 months
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Exceptional time-management and organisational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
- Permanent Australian work rights / visa status

What We Offer
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and supportive medical practice with established and new facilities.
The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.
Starting rate for newly qualified nurses: $32.09 per hour, with experienced nurses paid up to $52.50 per hour, plus applicable casual loading.
