About the role
As a CEC/SAA Accredited Solar Electrician, you will join the CMD Vertex Engineering in our Melbourne office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of residential and commercial solar power systems. Your expertise in meeting CEC and SAA compliance standards will be critical in delivering high-quality, safe and efficient solar energy solutions to our growing client base.
What you'll be doing
Conducting site assessments and designing solar power systems to meet client requirements
Installing, testing and commissioning solar panels, inverters and other electrical components
Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on existing solar power systems
Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian standards, codes and regulations
Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients
Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements
What we're looking for
A valid CEC (Clean Energy Council) accreditation and SAA (Standards Australia) licence
Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified electrician, with a focus on solar power installations
Strong technical skills in electrical systems, solar technology and testing procedures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve issues
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
A commitment to safety, quality and compliance in all aspects of your work
