CFA is recruiting Program Officers to join the Operational Doctrine and Training (ODT) team. The opportunities are casual in nature. You'll focus on designing, developing and supporting the delivery of training programs that align with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about contemporary learning design and vocational education, who can translate operational requirements into high-quality, compliant training products.
You will play a key role in:

Designing, developing and reviewing training programs, learning resources, and assessment tools aligned to RTO and AQF requirements

Ensuring training products meet Standards for RTOs, compliance, validation and audit expectations

Developing innovative and blended learning solutions (including digital, face-to-face and scenario-based training)

Translating operational doctrine into structured, accessible and practical training and assessment materials
-
Working with SMEs to ensure training reflects current best practice and operational needs
This role requires a strong understanding of training frameworks, quality standards, and adult learning principles, alongside the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across the organisation.
About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or successor) (essential)

Demonstrated experience in training design and development within an RTO or regulated training environment

Strong working knowledge of RTO compliance, validation, assessment design, and audit processes

Experience developing competency-based training and assessment materials

Ability to design engaging, learner-centred programs, including digital and blended learning

Proven ability to consult, influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and SMEs

Highly developed analytical, conceptual and written communication skills

Experience contributing to complex training or capability development projects
