An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse (MCCN) to join the team at Nepean Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 2) - Breast Cancer Care.
In this specialist role, you will provide expert, compassionate, and patient-centered care to individuals diagnosed with Breast Cancer, supporting them and their families from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship. As part of the McGrath Model of Care, you will play a critical role in improving outcomes and experiences for patients across the care continuum.
This is a role where you will deliver advanced Clinical Nursing care to patients with Breast Cancer, provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and symptom management, act as a consistent and trusted point of contact for patients and their families, coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care and provide education, information, and emotional support to patients and carers.
