In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for supporting executive decision making on the management of Transport's capital portfolio, investment and improvements of investment governance systems. You will continually help improve the efficiency, integrity, and robustness of investment decision making processes, meeting the needs for cluster wide management of the capital portfolio.
This role primarily involves drafting committee decisions and managing related activities, including coordination with evaluation teams, seeking clarifications, processing and distributing documentation etc. The remaining responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder liaison: Responding to queries across divisions, participating in pipeline meetings, and supporting stakeholders preparing submissions for the Committee
- Committee meeting administration: Preparing meeting materials and presentations, coordinating room bookings, managing invitations and providing general secretariat support
- Mailbox management: Monitoring the Committee mailbox, responding to routine queries, directing correspondence to the appropriate team members and maintaining basic filing
- Records management: Updating the Committee decisions register and ensuring all submissions and completed decisions are accurately filed and maintained.

About you
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
- At least 3+ years' experience in a similar role, as described above. You may also have been employed in a role similar to that of an Investment/Corporate Governance Advisor
- You have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, economics principles, financial concepts, investment governance etc.
- An understanding of and experience in applying regulatory frameworks
- Intermediate Excel skills
Nice to Haves:
- Business/commerce/economics/public administration degree, and/or professional accounting or governance qualification
- Power BI
This is a permanent flexible hybrid role. Mondays and Tuesday’s will be spent from our Elizabeth Street office in the CBD.
