Full-Time | 4 x Fixed-Term positions available (12-month contracts).

PW5 $79,270 - $85,278 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).

The Registrar’s Department is central to the Holmesglen student experience, delivering essential services across the student lifecycle, including enrolments, records, academic progression and student support. With a commitment to service excellence and collaboration, the department plays a key role in ensuring students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed throughout their learning journey.
As a Student Success Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers, stay engaged and successfully achieve their study goals. Working with both domestic and international students, you will provide proactive outreach, early intervention, needs assessment, tailored support planning and referrals to ensure students are connected with the right support at the right time. Through building strong relationships, monitoring student engagement and collaborating with specialist teams across Holmesglen, you will make a meaningful contribution to improving student outcomes and enhancing the overall student experience.
As a Student Success Officer, you will:

Provide proactive support and guidance to domestic and international students, connecting them with appropriate services.

Identify and support students at risk through early intervention, outreach and tailored support strategies.

Coordinate support plans, referrals and follow-up activities to improve student engagement and success.

Build collaborative relationships with students, staff and support services to strengthen student outcomes.

Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful, you’ll have:

Experience supporting students or clients through complex circumstances, including risk assessment, intervention and case coordination.

Knowledge of student support principles, referral pathways and strategies that enhance engagement and success.

Strong relationship-building skills with students, staff, support services and external stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse communities.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement.

A relevant degree qualification in education, community services, youth work, social sciences, business, psychology, student services or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
