We are seeking a Graduate Accountant (accounting experience desirable) or an Intermediate-level Accountant to join our growing team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar)

CA Qualified or willing to study (preferred)
Role Responsibilities

Taking a proactive approach to developing and maintaining client relationships for a broad range of clients, from business owners to professionals in diverse industries.

Ensuring work is delivered by your team to a high standard and all client expectations are met.

Working closely with clients on a range of business advisory needs, including business restructuring, tax planning, and cash flow management.

Working with other specialists to provide a full range of services to clients.

Identifying business development opportunities and referral networks.

Providing feedback and developing junior and intermediate accountants.
Skills and Experience
-
More than 2 years' experience in a chartered environment with a mid-tier or large boutique firm (for Intermediate applicants).

We will also consider Graduate Accountants with 6–12 months’ relevant experience.

Knowledge of division 7A, FBT, CGT (preferred)

Experience working with a variety of clients across several different industries.

Technical knowledge and proven experience in tax and accounting compliance

Solid time management skills and attention to detail

Experience using cloud-based systems

Passion for ensuring a high standard of deliverables to clients

Keen interest in business or taxation law
-
Experience working with Xero practice management will be an advantage

Provide feedback and help develop junior accountants.

CA/CPA Qualified or willing to gain.
