Daracon Group typically known for its strong presence in Civil Construction established a Rail Division some years to with the goal to provide short-term contracts to service rail infrastructure needs throughout the Hunter Valley. Over time the Division has expanded, adding construction, rehabilitation and maintenance services to their capabilities. The Rail Team are based out of our Mount Thorley Depot, however they are equipped to respond to rail needs Australia-wide. Currently their geographic footprint focuses around the ARTC network map and mine sites across the Hunter Region.

Due to our growth and forward load, we are looking for an experienced Rail Supervisor to join our highly experienced and dedicated team. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise personnel across a range of works to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the rail business.
To be considered for this role you will at a minimum have:

Demonstrated rail experience in a supervisory position

The ability to lead a strong team and work well as part of a team

Experience in rail adjusting, turn out construction and track re-cons

A Rail Industry Worker Card
-
A strong safety awareness with an enthusiastic attitude with regards to promoting safety initiatives throughout the team

Ideally you will also have track Certification qualifications
The ability to work away from home for short periods of time.
