Join our team at BIG4 Port Elliot as Amenities Cleaning employee, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role involves maintaining the appearance of our accommodation, amenities, and park buildings to a high standard, while also providing excellent customer service to our guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all park buildings and shared facilities to ensure a high standard for guests.
- Clean and service amenities blocks, laundries, and camp kitchens to provide a consistently hygienic and well-maintained environment.
- Monitor and restock consumables (e.g. soap, paper products) within amenities and communal areas as required.
- Conduct routine checks of park buildings to ensure cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the day.
- Undertake cabin cleaning as required, ensuring interiors, verandas, and exteriors meet guest expectations when needed.
- Assist fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently and maintain overall park presentation.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with all safety procedures and protocols.
- Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of their safe handling.
- Support general grounds upkeep where required, including basic gardening to maintain the overall appearance of the park.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting guests and responding to requests when needed.
- Support the enforcement of park rules to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all guests.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience as Cleaner is preferred but not required. We can provide on the job training for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and MSDS guidelines advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Capacity to work effectively within a team and independently.
