This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and embed Data Governance as a core enterprise capability across EBOS MedTech. Reporting to the Head of Data Integration & Governance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our critical business data is trusted, consistent, high quality, and fit for purpose across systems, teams, and functions. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to establish governance standards, improve data quality, strengthen stewardship practices, and support a culture of accountability and data-driven decision making.
What you will be doing:
- Lead enterprise data governance standards, policies and business definitions.
- Drive data quality, stewardship and governance compliance practices.
- Partner with business leaders to improve trusted enterprise data.
- Maintain and evolve the enterprise data governance framework.
- Establish and monitor data quality rules, metrics and governance processes.
- Support Data Domain Owners and Data Stewards in managing critical business data.
- Embed governance practices across projects, systems and business initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve data ownership, accountability and governance maturity.
- Support privacy, retention, traceability and compliance obligations across core business data.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's data strategy and governance roadmap.
What you will bring:
- Experience in data governance, master data or data quality.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practice.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior data governance, master data or data quality role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
- Experience developing governance standards, stewardship models or data quality programs.
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance and audit requirements.
- Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications will be highly regarded.
