About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Team Leader who will report to the Business Unit Manager onsite to help oversee daily operations of our Mesh Manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will share responsibility for operational performance, scheduling accuracy and team coordination whilst also spending time working on the mesh line.
With a small team of 5, this is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional who enjoys balancing planning with hands on operations leadership.

What You’ll Do:
- Keep the site running smoothly day-to-day, hitting our targets for safety, quality, delivery and productivity (With help from the BU Manager)
- Track and report on KPIs and performance goals
- Keep the team in the loop on production priorities, updates and what's expected of them
- Spot opportunities to cut waste and work smarter as part of our continuous improvement drive
- Make sure we're always meeting quality, safety and environmental standards
- Champion lean manufacturing and our push for manufacturing excellence
- Get behind our Health, Safety and Environment policies and initiatives
- Oversee planning and scheduling to keep operations flowing
- Make sure we've got the right people, materials and equipment in the right place at the right time
- Coach and motivate your team — from training and development through to feedback and performance
What You’ll bring:
To be success in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a similar role + Certificate IV qualification / Minimum Year 10 Pass in English and Mathematics
- Current forklift licence
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of operating machine modern high speed machine, manufacturing processes and operational KPIs.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
- Understanding of Workplace OH&S in a warehouse/factory/manufacturing environment
Desirable
- Diploma or degree Engineering
- First Aid Certificate
